The administrative block destroyed during the 2020 EndSARS unrest was rebuilt and commissioned in September 2021, with patrol vehicles, a borehole and solar lights.

Light Up Ikeja is the constituency's flagship urban-safety programme: solar-powered street lights installed across residential streets, markets and school routes.
The programme has reached Wasimi, Ojodu and Olusosun, and continues to be extended. Because the lights are solar-powered and standalone, they do not add to the community's electricity load and continue to work during grid outages.
